Anyone Out There?
Hello,
So I have decided to start my own blog. I am starting this as a way to meet other law students seeking to start a solo practice right out of law school. Maybe I am the only one out there!
I hope to build this into a resource law students seeking solo practice can use to help plan the launch of their new practice. This is an exciting new venture that hopefully will bring a great deal of information, motivation and enjoyment to law students. Thanks and I look forward to many great posts.

I am also considering solo practice after passing the bar. Do you have any thoughts on preparing a business plan, and if one is really needed to start of successfully.
Excellent idea Joe! I too hope to learn about this possiblity for a career path. My law school makes it seem as though it is impossible to do. Good Luck!
HEY GUYS.is this blog still active? Did you start? I havent taken the bar yet but i have my buz plan all donw
Yes this is still active...though I have abandoned the blog while I was studying for the bar. I intend to update the blog much more often now that I am nearing the opening of my own firm.
Hi Joe. Do post if you were able to go solo right after law school. I'm posting this note in December 2009 as I am considering going solo in 2010. However, I would like to hear your thoughts as far as how tough of a slog it has been. My law school definitely discourages new grads from going solo so it was a pleasant surprise when I came across your blog.
Hi! I chanced upon your blog and figured I might as well drop a line. So, how is it so far? Have you gone solo or have you decided to go with a firm instead? Cheers
Is there anyone out there who really loves the customer?
Recently I have become quite focused on the issues of customer trust - primarily I am saddened by the trend to take advantage of the consumer.

It's 10/31/11. How is going solo after law school been holding up?
All you need is Google Calendar (free!) and Time59 (cheap!) and you've got the basic software needed to manage your practice. Time59 is web-based time and billing software designed for solo lawyers. It is only $49.95 per year for unlimited use.
